Incorporating Online Training into Your Curriculum
More organizations are using online training to fulfill the needs of students. Blind consumers can benefit greatly from an online learning environment. Online training allows students to download and review lessons prior to meeting with a trainer for review and questions.
Much like colleges provide students with reading assignments and homework that is discussed and reviewed in each live class session, you can provide the same opportunities for your students. By preparing lessons in advance, students have ample opportunity to download and review the lessons prior to attending class.
When teaching live, you risk forgetting something or getting pulled off on a tangent by a student eager to leap ahead in the training. With pre-recorded lessons, this is avoided. Online training insures you teach exactly what you wish in the order you'd like students to learn.
If you've never considered online training for your students, I invite you to join me for this seminar and learn just how accessible online training and how it can free-up time for additional course preparation.
Join me Monday, July 19 at 4:00 PM Pacific for a comprehensive exploration of teaching online. We'll discuss class preparation, presentation, placing lessons on the web, providing students with support and much more.
I expect this seminar to last approximately three hours. It may go longer as I'd like to insure all questions are answered to the best of my ability.
